So, My friend and I were talking ages ago... And suddenly
-
-
Well... I haven't had plastic surgery.
I guess it depends.
If you are the kind of person, who keeps having a surgery to fix your physical flaws because you're still not pleased with the way you look, then I guess the answer is "no".
-
I think some do and some don't. Just like not getting plastic surgery isn't necessarily a sign of loving oneself. Not getting plastic surgery could also be out of fear of complications or a lack of money.
Not all plastic surgery is the same either.
We do a lot of things to improve the way we look. From getting haircuts to dyeing and styling it. We use makeup to enhance our appearance or to try our best to hide perceived flaws or imperfections including scars or skin conditions.
We work out to improve our physical appearance and dress in ways that flatter our body shape...
The list goes on. Do we all hate ourselves or simply try to be our best selves (from our perspective)?
Plastic surgery is, of course, far more invasive, but I don't think people who get PS are necessarily more insecure than the average Joe. Some definitely are, and some I think have genuine issues that would likely be better discussed with a counselor or psychologist than a surgeon, but that doesn't apply to everyone.
Just my two cents

Loving yourself is contentment. Maybe by undergoing PS makes them contented then I suppose that's their
way??
-
-
I don't see a problem with plastic surgery tbh
Being seen as ugly by society is awful.
So yeah, they can love themselves with the PS imo. And they'll love their image in the present too
-
I love myself but I still strive to improve myself on a daily basis
Granted my methods are more toward my personality and spiritual but still changing myself
PS is the same to some people, they can love themselves and still want to change
-
different strokes for different folks my friend
there will obviously be some people who can't get enough of PS like it's an addiction but others get one thing and changes their outlook of life comepletely...
others might regret getting PS done...
it's really up to the individual themselves why they got it and if they regret it or not...
