Can Itzy bounce back?

  • They are still doing well, especially physically. I don’t think Knox with a regular album would have sold that much anyways

It’s more of a question if they can bounce back in Korea,

  • If (g) - Idle can y not I T Z Y

Gidle never bounced back because they were never flopping? their last comeback did well but the scandal led them to an abrupt stop. Itzy's case is very different since they are declining with each comeback. The most I see happening is doing enough for them to stay relevant in their own company let alone in 4th gen. When hybe's 2 girl groups, yg debut and nmixx overtaken itzy will push them off the grid. I see itzy being 4th gens gfriend.

    (g) - I dle used to do same numbers as I T Z Y

  • No, Itzy have peaked.

    It's so obvious.

Nmixx needs two good comebacks and they will surpass them.

Aespa left them in the dust 9 months ago.

Ive and StayC are arguably above them now as well.

  • They can but JYP has to work on their concept and not copy whatever is trending. All five members are stan attractors, especially Ryujin.

  • The way things are going, probably not, at least not in South Korea.

ITZY have been on a decline in South Korea and have never been able to equal their debut song's success.

But 1 good mega hit song can turn the tables for any group, and that includes ITZY.

Being a Big 3 group means that ITZY have increased built-in attention, also with a lot of JYP stans - fans of other JYP groups - that will always be supportive towards ITZY even if they're not Midzys themselves. So if JYPE can provide a song for them that resonates with the Korean people, ITZY will be back on track again.

If not, ITZY'll probably keep declining on Korean charts or be a midtier group in South Korea, but with overall strong album sales.

  • Bounce back from the below obviously. Midzys are DELUSIONAL if you don't think they've declined.

They had every chance of rivalling Blackpink with Ryujin, Yeji and Yuna, but nope.

Melon Daily Peaks for last comebacks - copied from other post

    Aespa - Savage - 1st

    Blackpink - Lovesick Girls - 2nd

    OMG - Dun Dun Dance - 2nd

    Ive - Eleven - 3rd

Got the Beat - Step Back - 3rd

    StayC - Run2u - 5th

    G-Idle - Tomboy - 7th (will rise more though)

    Red Velvet - Queendom - 7th

    Itzy - Loco - 34th

    Twice - Scientist - 51st

    Brave Girls - Thank You - 58th

    Fromis9 - DM - 66th

    Apink - Dilemma - 68th

    Mamamoo - mumumumuch - 82nd

    Kepler - Wadada - 91st

    NMIXX - O.O. - 107th (slowly rising)

    Viviz - Bopbop - 111th

  • this is korean charts only, they're still selling better than before so I'd it's still arguable whether they declined o not.

  • They had a temporary slump because ITM was a bit cringe. Loco was a bop. As long as JYP can keep their career on a decent trajectory from now (and please god keep them away from what they are doing with nmixx) they'll be fine.

  • They still lead overall though and by a long margin

  • they just need better more palatable songs targeted towards the k-gp. Loco was refreshing but i do think they should do something like dalla dalla or wannabe again.

  • It really makes me wonder why brands like Maybelline, Pokemon, H&M and Burberry are throwing money at a "flop" group
