Yeah, Koreans do seem to be hyper focused on the looks. Like that thread not too long ago about Yuna's shoulders or something? Probably why idols feel compelled to get work done. If people focus on the littlest things like they way your eyes open or how your cheek bones protrude lmao?

Just like people bullying the other NMIXX girls because they wanted Sullyoon to be center because they find her the prettiest. It's crazy. Or how they talk down to idols if they don't fit the Korean beauty standards perfectly.

I agree. Every society has their issues.

I don't know if Korea's ageism is a bad as it is here. Here, it's hard for people over like 50 years old to get certain jobs, and in Korea, you have to attach a professionally taken profile picture to your resume. Pros and cons abound.
