Did covid turn a considerable amount of people to Karens?

  • So I went shopping in person for the first time in 6 month. I usually buy PJs and some workout clothes like Jogger or ski stuff from the kid section. They fit me better and they are like half of the women clothing prices despite having the same brand/material/style. This sport outlet place had a huge clearance and I wanted to get a few stuff for my running sessions. This random customer stomped toward me and she was like "excuse me, do you even have kids to buy those?", I was kinda shocked that a total random person was literally in my face and I wasnt even doing anything to her. Thankfully an employee noticed and came toward me and asked me if I needed help or wanted him to keep my stuff behind the counter. She bugged off after he showed up. I feel like everytime I go out, someone wants to be in my business for no reason.

  • No, people like this always existed and will continue to, unfortunately.

I feel like there is more of them and they are definitely more into my face.

  • Yes, they did here in Australia. There were a few cases of people refusing to wear masks etc and complaining. My sister's name is Karen and she also fits the description. (It's not mean, we have never gotten on).
