I remember when this song came out and EYK criticized it, because it was talking about living independently at a normal standard of life without your parents' or a partner's paycheck, which isn't as ~ideal~ as some other song that was bragging about buying diamond rings with their own paycheck. Now that I'm older and I actually know multiple people trapped in relationships with people they hate that they can't afford to leave, I have more appreciation for Miss A's version. I may never have "buy my own castle" money, but hopefully I will have "live at a good quality without reliance on others" money.
