What happened to ITZY being rumored to join Queendom?!

I think they definitely would have done very well in queendom and gotten some gp recognition, but I think jyp is jusy against the whole idea of having his girl groups against other groups. Just like we don’t see sm girl groups in queendom either

You all just randomly guessed they’d be on the show and ran with it. I saw no indication ITZY were ever asked to joint Queendom. Now you’re all sitting here acting as if JYP denied them being on the show?

I guess they hoped for an 'Oh My Girl' repeat, where OMG blew up after Queendom?

I didn't follow the show or the groups, but from what I understood most contenders at least had some degree of a popularity boost following the show, however fleeting or minimal it may have been.

I agree that participating in the show won't be enough, you also need something afterwards to solidify that increased attention, like a hit song, so something of a synergy effect is created.

The thing is that only Brave girls has a back up all the other GG have no hit maybe WSJN since they have a song which is rising every new year I don’t think it will help that much in Korea maybe internationally...but who knows
