It's not an OST of a popular drama. It's not the OST of the game or even the anime. Just an OST of a Webtoon that was boycotted by quite a large part of the fandom. Despite this, the song achieved really good results.

I'm curious to see how he does against V. I think this could be a good measuring stick to see who has the more powerful Korean fandom. V has been holding steady at around 20-25 on Melon. Will JK match this? Beat if?

V has GPs to back him up. Some OBS OSTs are still ranking on various domestic music platforms. The drama which has his OST ranked #1 on Netflix Korea (even though it had poor TV ratings, but most youngsters watched things on OTT these days and Our Beloved Summer caters to young generation).

If anything, if we compare debut day performance, JK’s OST slightly fares better (which to me signifies a sliiiightly bit stronger core fandom but who knows lol), but I doubt it will be able to match Christmas Tree’s longevity bc JK OST doesnt have GP.
