How long does it take AKP to approve an article?

Actually in regards to articles there is a sort of timing to it. The staff over there don't check the user content submissions constantly. They do it at specific times.

(For reference, my timezone is cst)

Typically, they usually approve articles around 12pm and keep going until say 5pm. It's possible to get approved outside of this time slot, but it's seldom.

So my advice to you is to just make a new article and copy and paste and everything from your old article, and try to submit it around that time slot. They are more likely to see it, and it's less likely to get buried under other submissions.
