That statement is relative, looking at numbers it's a huge stretch
but if you mean the ratio
txt are easy to get into:
great exposure thanks to bighit's marketing and bts (moas who believe the association ended in 2019 are the most naive people ever)
music and concepts designed for the widest possible mass appeal
so at any point they'll have a huge following
however
they lack a factor that keep people permanently attached.
for enhypen, it's the survival show effect: people grew more attached to their faves through the show and feel directly responsible for them so they'll stick to the group more
txt's creative direction backfires here, because as polished it is, there's not much depth to it, so that won't keep people seriously attached
their skills are...ok, but far from outstanding, there's much more impressive in the 4th gen (same applies to enhypen tbh)
and there's no feeling of importance as a fan either (enhypen has because of the survival show); for the aforementioned reasons txt will obviously always stay afloat, not only txt but moas too don't ever have to work too much for achievements

most enhyen stans are armys like txt. But txt debuted when bts were releasing regularly so not many armys thought about unstanning bts and became multis. Many moarmys have unstanned bts since last year because of bts reducing their activites but not that many. Since enhypen's debut bts have reduced their activities. They haven't released a korean song. 3 english 1 japanese 1 collab. So it was easy to unstan bts for armyengenes and only be enhypen stans.

The latest proof is the MAMA votings. Why? Because in the first round, people could vote for top five groups. BTS was leading at 1st, Enhypen was at 3rd place. This means many people could vote for five groups and if you were right, armys (or engenes who also stan enhypen) would vote for enhypen too. In the second round, votes went back to zero and then you could choose only one group. No army (or engene who stans bts) would vote for anyone other than bts. Despite that, enhypen's rank remained the same and they didn't drop out. Meanwhile txt,who used to be right behind enhypen in the first round, fell down with couple of ranks. That shows which one is the group consisting of mainly armys.

They don't this thread seems so... out of touch. ARMYs stopped being interested in TXT when they lost their debut "Bighit's new boy group" hype. Most MOAs these days just stan TXT and nobody else or TXT and another boy group or two. The MOAs that do stan BTS usually ult them and rarely interact with other MOAs who don't stan BTS so maybe that's where the confusion is coming from?

But they spend most time in anons because there is nothing to praise about their faves except their producers. You guys are getting tired of praising their producers and it shows. Some of you have some very delusional thoughts that need to change. BTS has one of the best fan retention ratio in kpop history. That’s how they rose to the top. No act who makes fleeting fans will ever reach the top.
I’m not saying BTS don’t lose fans but some of you exaggerate this too much. And you are right that most of these groups are just growing because of the trickling down effect from BTS (paving the way). I’ve noticed most of their stans on twitter always talk about BTS being their first kpop act.

If you get on Twitter you'll see all the praises you expect about enhypen. Someone there says "enhypen are amazing vocalists" or "their performance was so great" and such posts gain over 20k likes and engagement. Most engenes on that forum don't make threads and instead praise the group in their guild. And again, here you have a very small representation of engenes. Say everything you said on Twitter and you'd get eaten up with over 5-6k quote retweets.
I've been a kpop fan for ten years so you can keep your nonsense to yourself. Of course girl groups and boy groups don't compete in the same category. I gave you this example to show you that enhypen and txt aren't the only ones groups who grow fast and who have a great success. No matter in the category they compete in, you can't deny that groups like ive, aespa, itzy etc gained such fast results and made such amazing achievements too. Yet I don't see you write the same essays about them.
Your problem isn't with enhypen or txt, you just hate on every group associated to bts because you're insecure and because your faves probably don't even reach half of the success bts has. That's why you let out your bitterness by discrediting bts' fandom and other hybe groups. It's sad
