Storytelling Thread

Purpose:

As we've had some people in the guild claim that they're great writers, this is a game thread to allow these people to prove themselves.

How To Post

The first post will post the first sentence of a story. The second post will continue from that sentence. The story will continue until it cannot be continued (due to character deaths, or other situations that hint towards the end of the story.

Format:

E.g.

Post 1: The man shivered where he stood, the sudden cold washing over him.

Post 2: It seemed that even the warmest sweater couldn't warm him.

Any hope he'd had of forming a romantic relationship slowly dwindled.
