Is polaroid love by enhypen the 1st phenomenon for 4th gen?

    polaroid love, an unpromoted B-SIDE with no mv is going viral in Korea. It's enhypen's highest charting song in their career domestically. Highest charting 4th gen bside on apple Music, one of the highest charting in Spotify korea, it's at #120 on Melon daily with #70 at Melon real time. It keeps rising on charts which is common only for girl groups, boy groups either debut high and then fall off or don't chart at all.


    How can Korea, public that no longer cares about boy groups, love so much a whole unpromoted bside? Do you think that's the beginning of the first phenomenon of 4th gen bgs that we're witnessing?

    Saying phenomenon because they entered Melon top100 once with a bside is a reach , when they manage to actually chart at least decently in all charts then yes, you can say that..

    This should show you how low the standards are for boy groups are on kcharts. Polaroid is actually one of the best charting 4th gen bgs songs, probably in the top 10 somewhere.


    I see some fans celebrating when their groups manage to chart top 600...

    op should have specified bc polaroid love isn't touching aespa's song whatsoever & phenomenon is exaggerating, but it's funny you guys know enha stans get brought down for praising their faves in main..

    4th gen bgs (stray kids, txt, ateez,..) are doing extremely horrible on korean charts, so yes compared to them enha has done very well with a bside.


    except for a few groups, all of the 4th gen bgs have good songs only thanks to their producers & no one of them have any charm, so guess all of them aren't worth stanning either?

    It is funny how enhypen stans still want to act like polaroid charting is some big achievement when the title song is no where to be seen in top 1000. It is a fluke okay, not general public suddenly interested in them

    This is obviously a bait thread . The OP is probably Enhypen hater. We are not under any illusion that they are suddenly famous in Korea. 😂 Engenes are just happy that at least one song entered top 120 in Melon under the reformed system. It was more trying to beat their own record than anything else. Slowly trying to penetrate the GP side in SK. Enhypen is already popular or gain quite a good number of fans globally so being acknowledged in SK even for a semi viral song makes them happy. Like all fans, some supporters tend to exaggerate their favorite groups achievements to hype them. I dont see anything wrong with that as long as they are not trying to pull any group down or insulting other idols.
