I am not familiar with 97% of idol faces, so even if I liked dorama I might not be aware of idol's presence there. Also even if I knew about idol's presence I definitely can't recommend majority of those doramas cause mostly the acting was shitty or/and the plot was shitty as well.
The only good dorama with an idol which I highly recommend is Confession: great plot and amazing acting. I actually found out about Lee Joon Ho (he is from 2pm) being an idol cause I was highly impressed about his acting, went to see where else he played and it was written in his bio on a site. I am even highly tempting to watch The Red Cuff of The Sleeve with him right now, cause I usually am not into historical doramas, but he is way too good plus I've seen very good reviews about it.
Edit: btw, is IU considered an idol? Cause if so then Hotel Del Luna was a good one.
