Idk why, but I never thought that Dream lack anything to 127. It was pretty balance imo. Whatever 127 got, Dream will got too and vice verse (After they became permanent group). I won't complain that they have to perform as 5Dream sometimes because that's the best imo. (more money for the member too).

Tbh, to be a NCTzens or Dreamzens, you need to be open minded and not overthinking. For me, as long as the Dreamies are happy, then I dont have any complain.

Its 5Dream tho. Are you sure its 7 member because usually if they will perform as 7Dream, they will shoot the promotion video as 7.

I feel like NCT Dream will mostly promote as ot5. SM did said that NCT Dream's system is now like NCT U. Especially when NCT 127 already announced that they will have a tour. Obviously Mark and Haechan will not be there.

It sucks but it's part of the NCT system and unless we want Mark and Haechan to be more overworked than they already are, Dream promoting as 5 is something that will happen a lot.

NCT Dream as 5 or as 7 is still NCT Dream, but I get that if you solo stan or bias Mark/Haechan it's disappointing.

Dream has been pretty consistently performing at these one off festivals through 2021 as five members, so I don’t know why it would be a surprise?

This video of them as 5 should have given away that 7Dream was not gonna happen.

But the organizers still messed up for saying that all of them were going to be there.

SM never promised anything about this festival and the japanese tour has been in the plans since early 2021

They can't pick other members to replace them, even if they have 10 other members available. Mark and Haechan are part of both dream and 127, it would be illogical to have sungchan or a wayv member touring with 127 or travelling with Dream when they aren't part of that unit. Sure nct u line-up is rotational and any member can join but that's not the case for the fixed units and especially not when they have schedules like concerts.

Japanese fans are the ones that have suffered two concert cancellations this year and an album postponed last year, how much can a company play with them? and a dome tour isn't something SM can neglect, especially not in favor of a random festival.
