I agree with feeling sorry for Yea-won. She’s great, looks great, and is very likable. I think the current guys just aren’t into outward and expressive personalities. They seem to neglect Soyeon for the same reason. Soyeon is another one who deserves better.

Sandy, I apologize. I went back and rewatched this part. I see what you mean now. I mistook your comment as reference to the moment he first appeared and had to choose which girl to take on the boat trip.

Yeah, I was even rooting for him and Yea-won! Was really disappointed. I found Yea-won so charming when they were talking about smiles! Her personality is amazing.

I saw comments that think that he probably picked Jia cause they already know each other and her being a YT star. Career wise, dating Jia would be more beneficial to him. Probably start a couple channel lol … met on Single’s Inferno, now were here xD…

It could be also due to Ji-a's comment about how her first impression of him was that he's "sexy." Ji-a just has a really good way with words, so I wouldn't be surprised if he felt it was more of a surefire way to end up in Paradise. Maybe he thought it was the right thing to do given her "interest" in him, as they got to know each other before Yea-won came along.

I also agree with the women being more interesting than the men! Some of them men could very well be interchangeable when it comes to their displayed personality.

No, I don’t think that’s it at all. Quite the opposite, I would say. She seems really high-maintenance, so the guys probably see her as really hard to get. In an environment like that, they feel like she’s the one they have to compete and work for. She’s also really good with flirting; it’s different from the other women’s.
