Are ggs more popular that bgs in general?

So, is it just because ggs have attractive women in them? I don't understand why guys would listen to music simply for that. And if they actually like the sound of the music, I feel like they should be able to discover bgs songs they enjoyed as well. It's not like bgs music and ggs are whole genres apart in sound. Or is it just a bias against listening to men?

I think it's because girl groups are more popular with the GP. Boy groups for whatever reason, aren't that well known in the GP except BTS (idk if there are any other examples because I only follow like four boy groups). More of the general public can name a popular girl group member and not even know a whole boy group exists.

But what is it about ggs that make them more popular with the gp? Is it all ggs? Does it depend in the concept? I would speculate that it's because ggs sounds are softer, but aespa got big with a noisier sound

GG music is universal (and much more palatable than BG music) other than BTS and bigbang the gp doesn’t care for boy groups at all.
