If we are going for good and bad then Ive is nowhere near the top for me, I expected success because of how big Izone was, all the other post produce groups had alot of attention on them with the first release after the groups split so I totally expected it. 2021 has hit us so hard with GG news I've got wiplash.
Late definitely the biggest shocker of the year, GIRLS ON TOP!! (and yes I would frame this if I could) I mean SM is putting 4 generations of top kpop idols in a single group and the news came out of nowhere and BOA is in the lineup?!?! If someone wrote this as a fan fic this is the one that everyone would write off as demented yet here is it IRL. No contest.
Special mention to - Brave Girls, Gfriend (including viviz in this), StayC (coming from nowhere to hitting 100k like wut?), April (so much has happened I forget this was 2021) and Idle and Soojin (yet another one that feels like it started eons ago, but again was 2021). I put April ahead of idle because they barely got some hype before the river of poop came and knocked them down, including details of them being bad neighbours, endless interviews and comments from the members, kard getting dragged into this mess and now Chaewon is debuting solo???
