I'm the only user who find that most of the 2nd gen badge are a big disappointment in comparison of the 1st edition badge ?

Honestly, it depends. Some badges 2nd gen are really nice, and some not that much. I can't decide which ones are better in general, because it depends on a group.

1st edition badges were better on average but some of the 2nd edition are gorgeous. And I think almost all the group badges look better now. It's the individual ones that can be a bit weird.

Bts, black pink, stayc, aespa, itzy, nct (minus mark, if i were a stan
), enhypen, the boyz, g-idle, mamamoo (1st gen was HORRIBLE), ateezExo is also better, which wasn't hard to achieve, but i don't like most of them.
1st that i liked more: twice (tzuyu dahyun, chaeyoung
), stray kids, txtI'm sure i forgot some but that's about it. Voted for 2nd gen

They wanted set despite having one member with half of his face covered
it's not fair to his fans. One user told me that he's her bias but won't spend 250 akorns on a badge where half of his face is missing. Again, it's not faircan you believe that one user convince everyone that the winning set was bad quality and in the end the badge maker ended up believing it
and her badge was the textbook example of quality badges. It's so sad and unfair -

Agree, those shots are not for badges. Soobin and hyuka have the weirdest poses, taehyun and yeonjun are the only ones that look good but photos are way too dark. I forgot what pic i used but iirc all badges were made from the same group photo
aesthetic concepts shouldn't be used for badges. It's so frustrating -
