I think it's because aespa's concept was supposed to be promoted digitally because of the pandemic but they're not ready for live performances with audience.

But I have to admit those are just assumptions and there's like, 2 groups to back this up, nct is the one with the most evidence since they've been going for 5 years now, aespa is too new and it seems like there was already a change in direction from debut to their newer stages from what fans said
