She speaks freely
I wonder what Yanning("Jessie/Jennie") Fu will say about Itzy copying her rock MAFIA/bad man idea

The "bad guys" were ITZY. They were doing a mix concept, the styling/stage has a regular Mafia style, but the play on words was about the "Mafia game", where someone tries to hide a certain fact. And in the lyrics, they say they are the Mafia because they hide their real feelings for the person they want to seduce.

Just rewatch the mv, jesus. It’s starting to get embarrassing. Also, lyrics =\= concept
Also after reading through the lyrics, it‘s more embarrassing. Like, just say you want to promote her and go.

I'm honestly surprised with how much "acknowledgment" you have about Itzy song, whole concept and lyrics. A fan i must say.

Where's the "bad man" part in the lyrics or MV? If you point it out and it's correct, I'll delete my OP and admit my mistake

So, in this one scene where yeji is walking, there is another man walking and she is eyeing him. The whole point of the Mama stage was to show as in the whole Mafia scheme (how it is usually portrayed in film noir) that there is no good or bad guy (everyone is working against each other) and that everyone is undercover or covering their true identity. Just like Ryujin is hiding next to puppets - as in hiding her identity as she is hiding her true intentions in the stage as an two-faced officer. That’s the whole point of the song, showing someone you aren’t or leading someone on with wrong information, subjects. Playing with someone. It’s not as prevalent in the MV as in the stage but it’s hinted in such scenes.

Ok....so it's different from what Yanning came up with, which is a rock version of MAFIA and the concept is revenge against a bad man. She removed the "hiding true intentions" thing, it was just direct revenge

She is doing a revenge in that sense. As I said, bad guys against bad guys. Like in the movies with the undercover people. I don’t understand what’s that hard to understand. As if she invented it, seriously ridiculous. I would have understood if you said God Fathers but not some random chinese trainee (I like her but come on)
