Should Idols be suspended like professional athletes?
What if Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism would create a branch that would regulate KPOP?
Example:
Idol A is accused of bullying. Ministry suspends Idol A the same way like comissions suspend athletes. There were cases when athletes were accused of assaults, bribery, or doping. And some times those cases were not confirmed or for example it was proved that diet suplement was contaminated with small amount of illegal substance.
Now Idol A is suspended, until police/court finishes case. The verdict is in, then if Idol was falsely accused the stupid Knetz hater will need to pay big ass fine and Idol can be back to promotions.
Of course if this will be a case of 'he spilled my strawberry milk in middle school, and said I'm ugly' and Idol A will be found guilty then apology letter and small financial fine should be a nice way to close the doors of whole story, and moving on.
On the other hand if Idol A is found guilty for knocking out tooth of former trainee of agency, using drugs, sexual harrasement, or even worse things then after hearing the verdict not only should he get big fine but also the comission/Ministry could be able to officially ban him from appearing/performing on national tv channels KBS, SBS, MBC.
