i got into it because i saw one of my faves was gonna guest like 2 years ago then i became a fan of the show because of the cast 
so now i watch all the episodes even if theres no idols
yeji guested recently but it was an episode with a lot of guests so she didnt get to shine a lot 
It’s literally because JYPE can’t pick songs to flatter their girl groups.
Like scientist sounds amazing because it’s actually in a manageable range
And omg, itzy’s be in love and surf really prove that their vocals are made for like softer mid-tempo songs but they never get to promote those kinds of songs, not even on like variety shows and stuff

Yuna improved a lot with her rapping. 
I think JYPE could balance their catalog out on the next mini album or so with more melodic songs and vocal harmonies (minimal to next to no auto-tune, please. The unnatural computer sounding high note near the tail end of "Tennis" still doesn't hit right) especially uptempos. Maybe at least 1 or 2 (Pop/R'N'B?) very good songs without rapping to help prove they aren't using "reciting" and "rap singing" as a crutch.
In the future, I personally would like to see the ladies hold the stage down when they don't have choreo. It kind of feels like they revert to 9-year olds on stage because they aren't trained to be comfortable doing vocal-driven performances. I like the group, so I'm putting this out there so the group can keep building on the improvements they've made recently.
Their vocals on love is was also great.
Lia's high note was better than anything I've heard on any of their title tracks tbh.
