Hawaii the most strict travel rules among the US States.

Just recently approved Covid Vaccine for Children 5-11 years old.
Do they have to be locked up in quarantine hotels for a while after landing?
Similar in ways of quarantine isolation is segregation for Public and Private gatherings. Segregation between the Vaccinated and Un-vacccinated. Un-Vaccinated are not allowed inside some private businesses and most Public events. So a Traveler satisfying the Covid Test travel requirement will still be restricted by this segregation rule. Going to a Restaurant you might not be allowed inside. Some places have outside dining set up for the un-vaccinated . Its crazy
Hotels don't have these rules. Another example Twice US Tour only vaccinated people would be allowed inside. These restrictions are not in every State. A Traveler to Florida would not suffer these restrictions.

No quarantine unless you're from a country that is considered "high risk" and unvaccinated in which case you need to quarantine for 10 days.
An exception to this rule are arrivals from regions where certain virus variants are prevalent. People from such regions need to quarantine for 14 days, including the vaccinated.

No. Children do not get vaccinated.
They're starting to consider it though because more and more children are falling ill.
That said, not much is being done anymore. The numbers are the highest they've ever been. We have more that 50k new cases per day now, but measures like online learning and working from home have been categorically ruled out.
