Ngl there was a part before the chorus that reminded me of umpah umpah and other RV songs but I think it's unique enough to not be considered similar.

Psycho is good but the end (the repeated "hey now we'll be okay") kinda ruins it for me.

Russian Roulette is better, but something about it just doesn't grab me.

The pre-chorus and chorus do bear a resemblance, but it's loose.

I also think the pre-chorus has similarities but overall they are both fun

Except Scientist is actually good

i got the umpah umpah vibes with the pre-chorus but that's pretty much it. the m/v itself is giving sm vibes but that's just bc it's a box set which is too commonly associated with sm.

Normally I'm a bit ify about their songs, but I found myself liking this one. It's a bop from me.

Scientist is more like a synthy version of a Miss A/WG song almost instrumental wise so it's very different from the sort of funk Umpah Umpah has. Umpah Umpah is a decent track by Red Velvet standards even if my faves are Rookie and Russian Roulette(note rank Red velvet titles).
