why can't group 1 become as big as group 2 internationally during their first year?

    1. Group 2 is at a bigger company than Group 1, and said bigger company also knows how to promote them.
    2. Group 2 has very famous seniors.
    3. The company of Group 2 is better at promotion that that of Group 1.
    4. Group 2 appeal to international fans overall more. Be that their music or image or having things those fans consider impressive eg. self-producing
    5. Group 2 had a viral moment or multiple.
    6. Group 1 debuted at the wrong time, there are several groups i-fans keep their eyes on, so the attention is divided.
    7. Group 1 had a scandal.
