Ennik 'Somi' Douma might be the second talent JYP has actually lost and might regret.

Somi was an active idol, not a trainee, even though she didn't have a permanent group. She had been making money for JYP for a couple years.

Yuna only got added after Somi left JYPE in around September 2018. The individual set photos for ITZY before only showed Yeji, Lia, Chaeryeong, Ryujin and Somi. If Somi had stayed Yuna probably wouldn’t have debuted with ITZY and would’ve been saved for the upcoming JYPE girl group.

Somi is still very good friends with TWICE and GOT7 as a whole so I think the company wasn't a problem for interactions.

I still think Somi is better in ITZY, because I don't see the "WOW" factor in her solos, but then it's her choice and I like her solo music.

I am just wondering about years ago, Somi said she left JYP because of differences, and now she said it's because of the lack of freedom. I'm seriously questioning the real reason.

This is weird to me. Under JYP these artists might have never reached their full potential and thus would not have been anything special. JYP would have 100% fucked up IU and it would have been a lose if she was in a group. Somi as well would have been great in a group but I think she is amazing solo as well. jAY park I dont really care about him as his music is pretty generic to me . Xiumin would not fit JYP at all, and I think he flourished under SM
