what am i even doing

  • at approximately 2:54pm today i discovered a Hanahaki (insert two idols i ship here) fic on wattpad

that shit was thirteen chapters + an epilogue and i just finished it ten minutes ago (6:49pm)

i'm usually a fast reader but i take time with art

it was one of the best fics i've ever read but sometimes i wonder, what am i doing with my life???

i spent the last four hours crying, smiling, and laughing over a fanfiction (which is so realistic with how these ppl actually act that it's a little concerning. starting to think one of the members has a wattpad and wrote this shit)

it's not like i have anything else to do but damn

do y'all read fanfics too (don't lie), and if so:

    1. what genre

    2. which groups?

    "i'm just a child,

    but i'm not above violence."

    -ethel cain, "family tree"

    (find salvation in the plastic)

Edited once, last by FeLiNa ().

  • I read Harry Potter fanfic from time to time. Mostly dramione. I have a hard time reading it about real people though. We should all realize though that the people in these fics are just as fictional as the fic itself.

    for sure!

some of these ppl write like the rent is due ;(

i haven't read fics about this ship in a couple of years (mostly bc i don't hardcore ship)

but it was very well done

    "i'm just a child,

    but i'm not above violence."

ugh, I had a Drarry phase.

anyway, have u read manacled...I couldn't function for a couple of days after :pepe-sad:

sometimes good books make you go blank and feel sort of empty for a couple of days...just contemplating all the events.

  • hanahaki is such a strange and unique idea IMO( glad it doesn't exist)

some fanfic writers really could write professionally

also, Hana means flowers and haki is literally the verb used to throw up so the name is kinda funny lol, but literal.

    YEP!!!!

    THAT'S HOW I FEEL RN!!!

they had a happy ending but i feel empty after reading _____ cough up flowers and suffer etc.

and it's usually ________ is the one who gets the disease but this time it was _____ and for some reason it hit different...

and yes i'm censoring and not sharing names bc i don't like getting clowned on and i do like being taken seriously w my threads in the future and these people cannot find out i was reading a ________ x _____ wattpad fic

    it was a GEM

    "i'm just a child,

    but i'm not above violence."

Is that Drarry? I haven't. My favorite Dramione is one called Draco: Phoenix Rising but it's cause I'm a sucker for a story that's not too dark, but still realistic AND with a happy ending. I read for an escape though. I don't need to be reading anything deeper, I have my own issues to attend to.

  • this is why books are my favorite form of art. there's just so much that can be described through words..so many interpretations...everything affects you in a unique way- especially if u read it at the right time.

I remember I know why the caged bird sings affecting me so deeply, that I like cried for a couple of days after.

i still think about some of the lines.

i'm a psychopath who reads Draco x reader

    "i'm just a child,

    but i'm not above violence."

Nope Manacled is Dramione's fic somewhat similar to the concept of the handmaid tale.

    i read for escape too
