I used to but decided not to anymore. Especially when there are users on this site who have tried to act holier-than-thou by literally defending a registered sex offender with a criminal record going back 20 years. 
Have you ever cared about strangers' opinions of you on the internet?

I used to but then I grew out of it and decided that if I continued to believe it, that I wouldn't make it out of the hole. And the whole thing in general probably wouldn't have been good for my health.

when I was younger, yes. I think I cared so much I got over it completely.

I shouldn't but I do. I'm a sensitive soul and if somebody offends me I get narked about it just like I would irl. They don't get a second chance though because they go on block. I've learned to realize that people on the internet are smartarses and trolls and only do it for attention.

I barely care about the opinions of people I know...imagine if I would give a damn to opinions of strangers, much less from the internet.

Typical stuff like "You're an idiot" is ok and I can let it slide.
On the other hand, getting sent death threats are where it gets bad.
