im surprised op never heard of them but i can recommend you brave girls, momoland and laboum.
4th gen non big3 groups still didnt achived a boom boom or rollin, well maybe a journey to atlantis.
well first let me correct you
Brave girls isn't a 3rd gen GG ; but a 2nd gen GG '-'
and yeah i know momoland and laboum since their debut, but even when momoland blow up among kpop fans with Boom boom
since debut i never felt that they had the potential to become a big GG , and i was true since boom boom was a one hit under and now they are back to total nugu '-'

true. I'm pretty sure that in a few years g-idle isn't going to be a girlgroup you'll think about when someone talks about 4th gen. Same with izone. I like them but I'd call them a late 3rd gen group. They debuted only 2 years after blackpink and literally disbanded when 3rd gen groups were still leading by a lot...
imo all the groups who debuted in 2017-18 aren’t 4th gen they are veterans
The 4th debat started during itzy and txt
Plus it will be weird gidle are year older than itzy but jypn will debut next year and in 2017-18 3rd gen were still at the top

Overall, more talent in 4th gen....just like 3rd gen more talent than 2nd gen.

I'm not talking about Girlgroup of 3rd gen from the Big agencies
but mostly about 3rd gen and 4th gen of Girlgroup from Mid agency and small agency
during 3rd gen , i can't remember any small agency GG besides Mamamoo, gfriend and Oh my girl
meanwhile i feel that during 4th gen it seems that there's more GG looking like strong contender or at least stand out more than small agency GG of 3rd gen, for example Tri.be, Pixxy, Purple kiss, Gidle, Weeekly, secret number, Lightsum, stayC etc...
i don't know what you think personally but i feel that 4th gen GG are able to leave a better impression and seem to be able to captivate the public better than most of the 3rd gen GG
Small agency?
So not something like Cube (CLC/Gidle/Lightsum) or Plan M (Apink/Weekly)?
Stay C is under a subsidiary of CJ E&M, they are not small.
Momoland is from a small company.

I agree with OP. I feel like the 4th Gen GG feel more differentiated and distinct, with more personality than the 3rd Gen GG. Especially the more famous 4th Gen GGs.
Screw the domestic popularity, current Gen GG just feel more international and not as limited in scope as the 3rd Gen. I would feel less cringe if they were to perform live on US talk shows like Colbert.

3rd gen paved the way!!
