Bahiyyih ranking #2 makes sense

Some say #1 is outshined by other centers yet she’s not getting nearly as much hate as bahiyyih so that logic doesn’t even make sense.
Well she is more known then her and also Chaehyun was able to showcase many times her talent

People have to realize that these types of shows are basically just a popularity contest, even if these trainees did backflips and sang like Beyonce, people will still choose to vote for the one(s) they like the most visually or even personally.
The "no screentime" thing can't really apply here. I've watched all 4 seasons of Produce 101 and there are trainees that literally have no screentime and yet they make it to the top 20 or even top 11. It doesn't matter how much screen time they have, fans will find a way to search for instances their favorites appear in.
One clear example is Produce X 101. There was this trainee named Koo Jungmo from Starship and he was popular from the start because of his visuals, despite being mediocre at everything. He was one of the trainees that barely got any screentime but he'd almost always have the most votes for each team challenge he did. He ranked in the top 11 for most of the show but Mnet decided that they didn't want him to debut in the final group so they rigged him out of the top 11 for round 4 and the 5th (final) round. He was average at best, with little to no screentime, and yet he was supposed to debut with X1, but Mnet rigged him out.
And honestly, I find this situation very similar to what Mnet tried to do with Bahiyyih. Despite her being so popular since the start they could not prevent her from placing in the top 9 without rigging it. No amount of evil editing and "no screen-time" could waver her fandom.

I def don’t approve of any personal attacks towards her. She joined this show & followed her dream just like everyone else did, and she still got the votes so it’s fair game
However, it is reasonable to be annoyed with her getting voted up in the top 9 at all let alone at #2. She didn’t really show much on the show which means 1 reason why she ranked that high
Her brothers group fandom. Huening Kai is their fave, and they wanted to vote for his sibling cuz of just that
That mixed in with Koreans voting for everyone but foreigners. Cuz we have to sit here & remember Yaning, Ruiqi, and Yurina lost their chances despite showing way more while also being another representation for a multinational group (although technically she adds to that cuz she’s part South American & can speak English)
