Like if we go back to Produce 48, the only mistake that was highlighted a lot was Gyuri's "FINE FINE FINE FINE FINE FINE FINE" voice crack. Other than that, there wasn't any huge mistakes that we televised.
Sure some performances aren't good and are subpar, for instance the Hellbayah performance. Or that some people who were audiences that watched the performance live for the first mission said that trainees didn't actually did well. But on the uploaded and televised performances they actually all seem fine? Like the cameras didn't highlight their mistakes as much or maybe even try to hide it.
But for GP999, it's like there are ... so many mistakes throughout the season? I'm not talking about interim performances or practice I'm talking about the actual performance. We have voice cracks everywhere, dancing out of sync everywhere.
Like I'm not sure if the performances are just bad, or it is because of the way the camera films the performances that makes the mistakes obvious, or because the masters love to constantly point out the negatives to make everyone sad and emo.
We just compare the first mission for example
- Yes or Yes both teams were the only ones that didn't exactly make mistakes
- HYLT both teams make mistakes, out of sync, too fast etc
- Fifth Season vocals were questionable at times
- Fiesta 1 was great, Fiesta 2 was just tragic, voice cracks everywhere
- EBS was fine I guess mistakes wise
Then for Produce 48, the only highlighted mistake was Gyuri's note, and Hellbayah's performance wasn't even highlighted as a mistake nor bad performance. In fact, Hellbayah fking won the other team
It feels like GP999 are just trying ways and means to make trainees look bad? Or maybe the trainees for GP999 are not as good as those in Produce 48? Or maybe the masters just are simply, of no help at all aka useless
