Do you prefer using a pen or pencil to write?

Pen although I do have to use pencil for my trade, I'd rather write with a pen. Speaking of writing, I haven't written a lot in the past few years and I can feel cramps even just by filling out a half sheet of paper.

Mechanical pencils must have some secret sauce in them cuz they make my handwriting immaculate for some reason...

pencil...it makes me feel safer even though I'm too lazy to erase my mistakes now. at least, I have the option of erasing.

Pens because I can write faster, they come in many different colors (I like pink and light blue ones), and I can only use pens to write because I have nerve damage in my dominant hand. Pencils require more effort than pens. With a pencil you have to mark the paper but pens just glide over it.

pens all the way. they make my handwriting 10x better, but I hate how they stain my hands.

It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one who prefers different means of writing. Personally, I like writing with a pencil, I can write quickly and my handwriting looks nice when I write with a pen and I have to strain my hand quite a bit)
