Black Mamba did good despite not being the most gp song and their new song is a "remix/cover" of a old song really loved by gp in early 2000s. I was expecting to see it chart.

It seems to be tradition for SM's girl groups to have a remake as their second comeback.
With SNSD, it was Girls' Generation (original by Lee Seung-cheol in 1989). Red Velvet had Be Natural (original by S.E.S in 2000). Now Aespa with Forever (original by Yoo Young-jin for an SMTOWN album).
I don't think f(x) had anything like it, but it's interesting to see the trend for their labelmates

I thought about that, but from I remember and understand, they were part of the promotions of the song together. SNSD released it first, then f(x) came with their own version after. I wasn't sure whether to count that as a remake or not, but if it does... That's all of them, then! (Not counting the SM groups from first gen, of course)

I'm glad cause everyone was really moving confused with the Christmas looking trailer but It defo doesn't have a specific season set to the music video at all and the song is timelesssssss
