The song didn't do well before aespa's remake. The "Smashing song" is a short movie track that no one knew about before aespa. Why do I even explain to a troll who called a song stolen when it was legally and publically bought and rearranged (with its owner working with aespa in it and in this album too).

Its more down to whatever restrictions are implemented. When covid started, streaming dropped about 25% in korea, restrictions means less people out and about, going to work, working out etc, thus less users tuning in. It means less ul, but thats true for all songs so.

It looks like cases are rising again currently, probably because of the holidays last week, but ive not seen anything about new restrictions put in place.

My bet is top 10 in Melon top 100, top 20 in Melon daily. But well, i don’t care about peak cause all i want is longetivity!
