I wouldn't be surprised if companies put a clause that an idol must be available for cosmetic procedures during the time of their contracts.
I mean, we see the kpop industry has a very specific look they want the idols to have. They want to sell "perfection". Unfortunately, there must be an incredible pressure on these artists to actually fit those molds if they want to have successful careers.
I personally see no problem with people doing it, but I think most idols don't really have a say in those matters.

it doesnt have to be in their contract. most of these idols are bullied and made to feel like they don't look good in comparison to other trainees/idols by company employees for most of their training period and a lot of companies will pay for the cosmetic procedures if they point out smtg the girl needs to "fix".
