I really wish it wasn’t denim. If she has kept that light blue color but used a more slimy/shiny fabric, it would have been better.

This. Though I think another thing they could have done if they wanted to improve the look was to use something(white-colored) that goes up around her chest (like a tube dress) instead of those underpants.
