Do you think we'd have actual AI idols soon cuz AI influencers are making bank?

AI streamers etc pretty much traces back to Miku hatsune to begin with so..

This kind of things DOES have an audience, but I think every kpop fans enjoy the fact that their idols are humans - even if they somehow can't understand that this means they can't be perfect. I think this AI business might absolutely grow, but I don't think it will ever replace 'humans' idols.

Virtual idols already exist like Hatsune Miku.

But I haven't seen any AI idol.

Isn’t that what SM is trying to do with aespa (very poorly to the point no one cares about that, but they tried)

I think it could make a bit of money in South Korea, maybe not globally though

They use real dancers and deepfake the ai faces on them to give a realistic effect and use computerised voices for the vocals.
