There are many kpop fans who think their next physical will not sell as much as the first because the first album had more hype. With the chinese regulations on bulkbuying, the possibility of that happening is increasing every year while blackpink is on hiatus. I personally think they can hit above 1 million but "THE ALBUM" has 1.4 million sales so it will be tough to beat that if their next release is just a mini album having two versions.

The way I'm tired... BLACKPINK selling power is great, without China they would sell +1M still, they aren't your kpop group who with hiatus lose fans, on contrary, they are the stan attractor and they keep gaining fans and casual listeners so i don't think we should be that worried when this year alone Rosé sold almost 600k and Lisa is already with +700k pre orders.

YG could sell albums in Mexico and south east Asia and would sell alot there..
