Proof 2nd Gen is Best Gen: #1 Rainbow 'A'

  • This is a new series I'm starting where I will post a different group and song that proves my favorite generation of kpop is better than your favorite generation of kpop.

For the first entry I'm starting with absolute monster of a song.

Rainbow 'A' is easily one of the greatest comebacks of all time. Rainbow had been a little slow out of the gate with their previous years debut of 'Gossip Girl' and being in the shadow of sister group Kara. But this song and comeback put them on the map!

The vets know how legendary this song is. But if this is your first time then hang on!

    I actually think I agree.

  • Again , I think that 3rd and 4th Gen. K-pop Groups 'suffer'

from the simple fact that a *lot* of the *interesting* SONG CONCEPTS

(Vocals , Dance) have been *already* done by the 2nd Gen. Groups.

Today , it is difficult to find a unique and innovative SONG CONCEPT

that does not remind one of some 2nd Gen. Song / Group (my view).

So , this is NOT surprising , would be my overall observation.

I would say , that what has changed significantly , for 3rd and 4th Gen. Groups ,

is *lack of privacy* ... EVERYTHING is now examined by FANS (Trolls ???)

and 'picked apart' in refined detail.

Also , IF that 'NOBODY BUT YOU' song (Wonder Girls) sounds a lot like

'Three Blind Mice' (Bond movie= 'Dr. NO') or 'Three Little Fishies' songs ...

NOT quite sure that I care about that debate either ... ;-)
