Groups coming to their end should be a happy occasion

  • You as a fan may not think it but idols see their approaching contract expiration as getting out of jail.

Imagine living a very controlled life for an entire decade or more. Almost everything you do is scrutinized, overseen by a CEO and managers, because at the end of the day you are a product of the company. Then when the contract is over all of that is gone in an instant.

So be happy when your idols are finally free.

  • yes, some groups I wish would just disband already and let aespa take over, hmm it's a sad life indeed. anyways but its true, a lot of kpop idols are happy when they can leave and have creative freedom and not make justin bieber remakes. yeah.

Like when the remaining members of BAP (not a big fan of them but I still like their song "Hurricane" nonetheless) had finally gotten out of their company in 2019 when their contracts expired (also, on a similar note, I'm so glad HyunA had gotten out of Cube and into P-Nation with her BF because they seem content with their current company - I feel like Cube was overly favoring HyunA over the others while she was a part of 4Minute because money, and while the way they handled her dating situation with E'Dawn was extremely messed-up for me, it also gave the two an opportunity to start their solo careers again at P-Nation, right :wellr: ?).

(while Rania only came to its end when it rebranded as BLACKSWAN, I'll have to be glad that some of the former members who left Rania before its rebranding - Joy, Yijo, Yina, Namfon, etc. - left and, fortunately, regained a lot of control in their lives and later went to establish their careers in modeling, acting, and so on; also, this may seem off-topic in a K-pop context but I've recently heard of the #FreeBritney thing and I hope Britney Spears gets out of the abusive conservatorship she's had to live under for 13 whole years soon :claps: )
