I live in Florida, which is a bit of a epicenter in the US for covid cases/hospitalizations rn. Honestly it seems fine to me lmao. My friends and i still go out, but we are all vaccinated and don't care if we get it. The vaccine has been free and available to everyone here for sometime. If you decide to go out, while unvaccinated and get sick/end up in the hospital, that is your fault and i have no sympathy for that.
Kids are the only ones that have an excuse to get sick, since under 12 cannot get vaccinated (to my knowledge). -

Sydney's a royal mess rn, both for young and old people

Here in Australia and my state in particular it’s chaos. Cases are exploding out of control with a couple hundred cases a day. Young ones are lining up to have the vaccine however with another one due out soon.
Does every state in Australia have its own covid battle policies?
Why would your state fall in serious situation while other state like where selfmate is at seems to be fine?

Because we have a higher population and also have a more incompetent state Govt who doesn’t know what it’s doing. Most of the Eastern states are struggling with high numbers and lockdowns. It’s the state Premiers fault, not the people.

I've heard Delta Plus is already in China and in Korea as well
Korea never had so many active cases
as for China well I've seen some photos that many big cities are going on full lockdown

No because most ppl who are vaccinated, experience very mild symptoms, so they don’t get covid tested or need hospitalization. My friend got sick maybe 2/3 weeks ago and he just took cold medicine and was fine (felt like the common cold). The problem is, he didn’t get covid tested cause he didn’t feel the need to, and it’s hard to know if you have covid with weak symptoms or just a regular cold.
What we do know, is that 99% of those being hospitalized are unvaccinated. These variants would not be a problem if ppl protected themselves. But now kids who can’t get vaccinated are suffering because adults were irresponsible/selfish.
