Look, its happened with a lot of groups, and I don't think people understand really how frustrating it is. Appreciation posts can take time, they take effort, take love and it feels so frustrating to see a salty user come in and ruin that for you. It's so frustrating to see what you wanted to be a discussion end up in fights. So frustrating to be reminded of antis and hate and difficult periods of time when all you wanted to do was have a nice conversation.
I don't care what your excuse is, I don't care if you were just trying to joke around, you made everyone frustrated. In general, think of it like this: If you are part of the fandom, and have something positive, that's perfectly fine. If you are not part of the fandom, but appreciate the group, go right ahead. If you have an understanding with the OP that jokes are fine, and you balancenced it with praise, you are fine. If you don't however, and come in to merely talk down at the group, laugh at the fandom, start fights, etc. it's not ok.
