Which daesang is the hardest to win (album, song or artist)?

Album of the year since the only groups most likely to win giants like BTS, EXO, NCT and SVT.

Well more variety of ppl can get song of the year.

Many GGs and soloist have hit songs year over year.

But maximum sales required by album of the year is much more difficult and very select few and usually one act can get that many sales.

Artist of the year varies from award show to award show but also is determined by who won album the year over song of the year. It’s more likely the person who won album of the year to also win artist of the year.

Album?

I think album because literally only a select few groups ever win it and it is almost impossible for other groups with smaller fanbases to win.

SOTY is less predictable than the other awards. Anyone can compete for it and the competition can be close. The other two feel more predictable and there's a clear goal post.

I feel like this is going to come down to what ppl consider as difficult.

If more variety of ppl are eligible to win song of the year year over year is it more or less difficult to win

Vs album of the year where there is usually just one main act.

It depends who you are.

Do you have a big fanbase?

What's your or your group's gender?

Are you well known by the GP?

etc.

it depends. if youre not a boy group then its album of the year. if youre a boy group then its song of the year

I think it depends on what acts. Acts that lack a fanbase have it difficult winning aloty and aoty. After an established fanbase it’s quite easy in my opinion to snatch this award.

Hit songs are something your fanbase can’t do anything about, very unpredictable and anyone can snatch it. A very difficult award for even big acts to achieve. It levels the playground and no one has advantages over the other.

Artist of the Year.

The last time a Soloist challenged for that award, she was instead given the Lifetime Achievement Award.
