Which kpop generations have the best music?

For me I'd say 2nd and 1st gen has the most groups/songs I listen too. I've always loved 2nd gen and it was the generation I discovered kpop with. The girl groups especially from this era are legendary and I feel like there was such a diverse profile of music. I've always listened to a bit of 1st gen but never really explored it much. I've been really listening to it this year and I feel like the music is also unmatched in its own way. There's something about it thats just special even when compared to other genres outside of kpop for me, also has a sense of nostalgia despite me not even being alive for the majority of it lol. For that my vote goes to both 1st and 2nd gen. Both my bias groups are 3rd gen and I really love a lot of 3rd gen music but 1st and 2nd gen just hit different

4th gen has too little content compared to other gens. They already lose because of that. 1st gen had shitty music, I won't change my opinion on that. 2nd gen had great, fun and unpretentious music but most of it sound outdated now. So 3rd gen wins, but it's not like they released masterpieces back and forth either. They do have better and less dated songs overall, though.
