He mentioned about how he might be worried that one day he might get tired of making music, that despite being passionate about it, it is hard to continue doing it based on persistence alone especially if there isn't much reception for it
It also doesn't help that ONEWE being a K-band, isn't as popular as your normal idol groups out there. They've been in the industry for almost 6 years. They were called M.A.S 0094 before they signed to RBW (Mamamoo's company) and renamed to ONEWE in 2019, basically there are the same 5 friends who formed a band back then in 2015 so yes they've been struggling to make it big for many years despite having the love and passion for music and writing their own songs.
I mean it's not a sign that they will disband or anything, more like he is opening up to us that he feels this way and that many artists who don't make it big probably feels this way too. Furthermore, it is even harder in the K-band scene. We have older bands like Jannabi/Hyukoh/CN Blue/FT Island who are more senior and are doing pretty well. I would say that among K-bands who have a more "idol-ish" image, only Day6 and N.Flying are doing well. Like as much as I like to joke around and call them flops and nugus, they are doing a lot better than many many other K-bands like ONEWE who aren't getting much recognition at all.
Please do give a listen to K-bands and especially ONEWE because they have some amazing songs
