Furthermore none of the C trainees would be considered for top visual material. They lucked out with Yiren and Wonyoung

Yea I agree. I went through every video and marked the girls who shown the most as far as eye smile and such and China had more of them. I think the top Korean girls didn't lack in comparison to the top Chinese girls but that they just had more in that top level. I had 6 girls from Korea and 10 from China who really caught my eye. I think it is an experience thing because there were a lot more just trainees from Korea vs established performers from China either through active groups or multiple reality shows.

I'm just talking about the 33 C trainees. In my opinion I didn't see a stand out visual in the tier of Yiren or Wonyoung. Obviously visual isn't the only thing, they could be extremely charming or be stan attractors, but you can't deny visual is a very important part in the industry. For ex, Ju Jingyi, she wasn't super talented or anything but she was very popular due in great part to her visual. Despite that, the C team has cute and pretty looking trainees

Ju Jingyi is pretty talented. Violin, solid dancing, acting and a voice good enough for OSTs.

To be perfectly honest, Wonyoung and Yiren though top rated visuals would actually have had a hard standing out at Chuang 2020 or YWY2 -- when compared to Kiki, Yi Yang or Zhenyu.

There are some very good visuals among this group according to traditional standards.
