Twice have good vocalist jyp just give them songs not in their range and itzy have strong potential and have already improved their songs just don't challenge them vocally. I don't think people can say jyp lack vocally talented girls I think the issue is jyp doesn't give their groups vocally challenging songs. NiziU have a lot of great vocalist but there songs are not vocally difficult O_o

It's his vocal straining though that makes liking it not a popular opinion...
Maybe if he floated his voice a little more but it sounds like he's pushing to hard here

I think JYPE just needs a great "in-house" vocal training program. You don't have to be vocally "gifted" to become vocally talented; like any skill or talent, it has to be strengthened.
A great example is an American singer named Brandy. She didn't start as a "gifted" singer, but she became a very good singer. Now she is called the "Vocal Bible" because of her influence in R'N'B through mastery of her singing voice and executing riffs and runs.

kpop doesn't require that much vocal skills. it is more based on dance. As long as main vocalist and lead vocalist are good and others can sing basic level.
