Church attendance is down all across the board while kpop concert attendance is up.

First that religion is something that people believe and seek salvation after death and it's a serious matter. It's something since forever with a God who makes miracles as people believe and say. Kpop is not about you wanting salvation, you just love that people and try to include yourself with them as much as possible. It's different. Both have love, but one is about your believes and the other about just you loving the other human being.

I don't know where you are from but it depends on what country you are.

In some countries, it is a special and important matter.

In my country, 91% of the people are christians and we take this very seriously. Don't equate Christianity to KPOP in a mocking manner.
