I have been thinking about this for awhile now.
Here's just a hypothetical example
Let's say you had an illness, one that could potentially be fatal. And someone you think is your friend, someone you think understands all the pain you're going through - and they just abandon you - like that - like nothing.
Now the person suffering isn't innocent completely either - of course with something so serious comes some extreme mood swings and like, fear of the unknown.
Which person is in the right? Can anyone even be in the right? Should you forgive that person? Should that person forgive you?
What is the best course of action here - what if those two people are co-workers, and are making everything uncomfortable for the rest of people? What if one of them is so petty that they can't even talk to the other while at work. What if those people never had any interaction until recently does that change anything?
In situations like this - is there really a right or wrong answer, is what I'm asking?
Like I can see both sides as having some sort of validity - both people suffer, of course, but at the same time, is one person's suffering greater than the other?
Human emotions and actions are so odd to me. Sometimes I feel it's easier to just stay by yourself and not deal with people. Stuff like this will always happen, its inevitable - because we're human.
