There are more Korean people in the Japanese music market than Japanese people in the Korean music market right now. The number of Koreans who are musician in Japan as soloist or in groups is sooo many more than if we look at Korea for Japanese people

I remember like 10 years ago it was quite the opposite.

just some examples:

• SG (his realname is Seokyeong) is a fully Korean vocalist
• 48 is a Korean Utaite (his realname is Hajun) and part of a Utaite-group called BAE where surprisingly only 1 member is even fully Japanese
• NIK is a pre-debut group formed trought the surival show called G-EGG where 6 of the 11 member are Korean
• BEE SHUFFLE used to be a boygroup with 3 Korean and 2 Japanese member. 1 of the Korean member, his name is Minsu re-debuted as solist in Korea but only as JPop-artist, wich means he only sings in Japanese. The two other Korean member called Joonho anf Gyumin debuted as a JPop-duo in Japan in 2017 since they are from Japan but they are on a hiatus since over a year now cause they have to do the military service in Korea right now
• Hayato from the boygroup GENERATIONS is half Korean
• Apeace is a fully Korean JPop-group with curently 10 members. If you count all their ex. member than you come to 31 Korean people. Most left the group a few years ago to return to Korea but it was said those who are still in Japan never want to leave the country again and it was even rumored that a few of them maybe even want to achive to get the Japanese citizenship
• SIGMA is a 4 member group where 2 member are Korean
• Orbit is a 7 member group where 3 are Korean and 1 member is half Korean
• Chanmina (her realname is Mina) is a half Korean rapper and vocalist
• Yohsuke from MIXMADE is half Korean
• Jin from UNIONE is Korea
• Lee Minhyuk is actually a in Japan living youtuber but he apeared on Produce 101 Japan season 1 and released 1 MV later on
• THE CHARM PARK is a Korean from America who lives in Japan since 8 years and is now working there as singer, songwriter and producer
• Mooment Joon is a Korean rapper from America who is living in Japan and makes music in Japanese, Korean and English
