Aren't their solo releases considered pre-debut stuff? Officially, Loona debuted in August 2018 if I'm not mistaken.
Why is Heejin often the main member to get hate for getting lots of lines?

they promoted their subunits and solo stuff on music shows and released music videos at least with G idle you can argue about them being in 4th gen but with loona they clearly aren't.
I rmb people stanning loona before BP released their first mini album in 2016
They probably would have debuted a lot earlier but since their company went all out with their subunits and solo stuff they debuted a bit later.

it's Heejin actually she has come a long way. she wasn't the best at first but she improved a lot it's very impressive

not reliable? this persona is a professional dancer and has ben dancing for 10 years
she actually focused on technique when she analyses if anything she is the most unbiased dance channel. Watch Heejin's last performances.
as I said before Heejin has improved tremendously she kind of pulled a taemin ( in terms of improvement)

not everyone who has been dancing for a long time is bound to give a perfect opinion..
While dancing choreos focused on footwork lower body control is extremely important and no one in loona beats yves to it, same with the levels as I mentioned before, also heejin lacks in core strength which is again visible in choreos where they do constant switching..
Yves also has better dynamics while dancing, while heejin still isnt as good since her movements tend to not differentiate as much along with the musicality of the music piece..

did you bother to watch the dance analysis? she explains in detail and there is a reason why she is a center it's not for her pretty face alone. She is a good performer and dancer and Yves isn't perfect.
again heejin has improved she has a more arm strength now. I kind of feel you basing this in her old performances not their recent stuff because it's obvious she has gotten better
a brief summary :
Yves: - she has an ok musicality, consistent
she is a fairly clean dancer without major issue with excessive or uncoordinated movement her biggest strength is her footwork. She also said she needs to work on her isolations since she tends to short cut certain movements. Lot's of movements in her shoulders isolation itself is kind of weak and her dynamics are a bit underwhelming.
Heejin: precise with her timing. She said her movements used to be very loose and couldn't stick positions. her arm control is better now before she was unable to use locks and her angle would get messy because of lack of strength.
She has a perfect torso control, good chest isolations, her waves are connected. She is a clean dancer her angles are consistent and well extended but she needs to work on her footwork.

why would you think I havent?
I have and I dont agree..
You can literally read my comment again and watch the full cam of ptt stage and you will easily spot what I am talking about..
you literally just repeated and summarized what the video is about
heejin has a good torso control indeed but as soon as she changes levels, a lot of times her angles wear off, and she faces balance issues.. the biggest thing that sets her back from yves is her tendency to start next move before completing her previous move, she leaves them incomplete a lot of times.. she had developed a good lurch and has developed on her popping skills but it still isnt as good as yves..
flaws in yves dance are way less than heejin's

i agree with both statements, the subunits let the members shine individually more and things were fairer for the most part

well I literally said a brief summary in case you didn't watch it because I got the impressiona you didn't
but isn't it obvious based on the analysis than Yves needs more areas to work on?
-
Probably because she gets centre time too? Like I doubt Mia would've gotten as much hate in Dun Dun if she didn't have the most lines AND centre time along with a solo dance break.
Heejin can't help the fact that she's a very charismatic centre, was popular in MixNine (she made the final group), and is the best dancer in Loona (I know people say it's Yves, but Heejin got better than her in Why Not era imo) AND has good vocals. Every group has an ace member and Heejin is Loona's.
